{life} all things sorted

Hi friends! So... it is official. I am now certified to teach English as a foreign language anywhere in the world.  In the last week I have graduated from TtMadrid, reserved my new apartment in the center of town (can't wait to upload pictures of it when we move in!), opened a bank account, and started my job as a language assistant at a secondary school through the Ministerio de Educacion. It has been a whirlwind!

I can't wait to move into our new place next week. We walked around the barrio (neighborhood) last night and it is absolute perfection.

Here's to another photo roundup until I can get a more normal schedule happening in my life.

TEFL graduation!

My wonderful parents sent me flowers to celebrate!

Spent our first Sunday out of the course at brunch.

Naif Sandwich & Bar is muy delicioso.

I enjoyed the beautiful weather & a job offer by sitting outside by Gran Via.

The town I work in - Arganda del Rey

I enjoyed lunch with a coworker at Retiro Park after my second day...

...and then walked around and just took in the beauty that is Madrid.

Breanne and I were super tourists and went to the historic Mercado de San Miguel.
It is a foodie and wino paradise.

Yes. Those are large macarons to the left.

Explored our soon-to-be new barrio. Graffiti art anyone?!

Cannnnnnot wait to move in to our new place!!

It is perrrrfect.

We are always on the hunt for good cerveza - Spain is not exactly known for their variety.

We snagged some goodies at the store above - Cervezorama. They sell craft beer!

Celebrated this guy's birthday last night.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful week!

Ciao, Jen
